New Year, followed by New Year’s Resolutions. Many of us create personal goals, but we should also make goals for our business as well. If you think about it, it’s just like cleaning out the fridge. It’s a fresh new start. So let’s start it out right by planning a social media calendar.
At +Dynamic Designs Unlimited the first thing we determine is where our target market is. Is your target market using Facebook? Are they on Google Plus? Pinterest? Or are you marketing more business to business, and Linked-In is your key social media. Don’t waste your efforts posting to social media’s that aren’t focusing on where your target audience is. This year, focus on the right areas.
After determining where your target market is. Determine how much time you will be able to devote to each social media. How many times per day, per week that you will be able to post.
Finally, determine what or what type of information you will post. And here is a very important key, variety. Spice it up. Keep it light, refreshing and fun. Videos and pictures are big, and will continue to be important. Don’t sell. Most importantly, like peanut butter, stick to your social media calendar goals this year.
