Dynamic Designs wasn’t only a sponsor of the 3rd Annual Northeast WI Business Success Summit (#2016BizSummit) we were honored to design and develop their new website, and also attend the event as a group. On Wednesday, November 9 2016, the team at Dynamic Designs including Bruce, Tammy, and Jennifer went out the the event held at Lambeau Field and were able to listen to speakers from all different backgrounds on topics ranging from how to better market your business, financial must-knows of doing business or tapping into a better business leadership potential.

The event this year had over 350 guests who were privileged to listen to keynote speakers talk about their experience with a successful business. Mark Murphy, CEO of The Packers, talked about advancements that they have made and continue to make to compete and draw in more customers. Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch gave an excellent speech on finding and retaining good talent. She showed us, based on jobcenterofwisconsin.com that there are 92,618 jobs available in Wisconsin and that this is a free resource for business’ to post job openings and potentially find good candidates. She also informed us that Wisconsin has the highest small business survival rate in all of the midwest!! What a statistic to be proud of!

81hikimtxzlScott Schickler was there to share his knowledge on positive mindsets and to remind us to Dream Bigger! He had some excellent research to share on living a happier, more fulfilling life and even some exercises that had many of us scratching our heads with sudden realization. Scott’s book “7 Mindsets” is definitely something I suggest checking out. He was a passionate and exuberant speaker and his content was relevant and inspiring.

The closing speaker was John McHugh from Kwik Trip. John spoke on the message of treating your customers right and his stories of compassion touched many of our hearts. He reminded us to celebrate the goodness and share the stories of goodness and the goodness will multiply!

Personally, I was very pleased my choice in breakout sessions. I listened to Scott Schickler speak again on the “High Achiever’s Goal Setting System”. He outlined the top reasons people fail and five unique strategies of high achievers. I also saw Sarah Schwab of  Content Creation Coach speak on how to “Expand Your Business Through Content” everything about Sarah’s presentation was smart, interesting and fun! Did you know, email marketing is the most effective and most cost-effective type of marketing? Finally, I was captivated to hear the story of April Knutson as she shared with us her “Entrepreneurial Journey” she not only encouraged entrepreneurs by explaining why it’s such a great time to take the risk of being a business owner but also showed us with many examples that success is both success and failure combined. Most people don’t win at everything all the time and that real success is messy.

I think the NWTC Entrepreneurial Resource Center put on an excellent event this year and I was proud to be a part of it.
