Driving Traffic, Supporting Small Business, and Building Community: A Wash Shack Case Study
At Dynamic Designs Unlimited, we love projects that go beyond just a website—they’re about connection, strategy, and helping businesses thrive. One of our recent projects with The Wash Shack Car Wash in Hobart, Wisconsin is a perfect example.
The Wash Shack was looking for a way to bring more traffic to their location this spring and summer, and they had a creative idea: food trucks. By hosting rotating food trucks in their parking lot, they could not only give visitors more reasons to stop but also support other small businesses in the complex. This approach adds energy to the space, strengthens the community, and adds real value to the Wash Shack experience.
Our goal was to make this vision easy for customers to access and understand. We designed a simple, clean Squarespace website focused on promoting the food trucks, with clear information and a visually engaging layout. The site was built to highlight the vendors, encourage visitors to check back frequently, and ultimately drive foot traffic to the Wash Shack.
But we didn’t stop there. We also implemented strategic linking to the Backyard (www.hobartbackyard.com). Why? Because linking related websites not only boosts SEO, it also reinforces a network of local businesses that support each other. In other words, this website isn’t just a promotional tool—it’s a way to strengthen the entire community ecosystem.
